What could be better than jumping into cool water after a long hike or a sporty mountain bike ride? The bathing lake in See offers active holidaymakers just the right thing to do after the sporty part of their holiday. Treat yourself to a refreshing swim on hot summer days and relax lakeside.
Did you know? Centuries ago, there was a lake on the valley floor of the nearby village. Because of this, without further ado, the place was given the name “See”, which is the word for “lake” in German. However, this lake completely disappeared in 1433 following a landslide. Today, bathing enthusiasts and mermaids alike will find the games, sports, and waterpark in the exact same location. Don’t worry – while the swimming area is in the same place as before, you’re guaranteed to be safe from a landslide these days.

Big swimming lake
Out into the open, into the water - that's the way to live! The main attraction of the Games, Sports and Waterpark is, of course, the large bathing lake with a total area of 6,000 m² and a depth of 4 metres. It is surrounded by a spacious sunbathing area with plenty of green space to relax.
Children’s pool for our smallest guests
Splashing in the water for hours – the little ones love it, too! There’s also a children’s area in the play, sports and waterpark. A special highlight – the dancing water from the spring stone in the middle of the pool, as well as the fun waterslide. Parents are also allowed to have fun! While the little ones swim safely in the 40-cm-deep water, you can relax on the adjacent sunbathing area, from where your children are always in view!
Children’s playground in See
Small and big adventures await your little ones on the children’s playground in See! From climbing to swings and seesaws, your kids will love the adventure playground. Build imaginative figures out of sand or take a ride on our fun slide. What’s more beautiful than the happiness you see in children’s eyes?
Pure nature – the idyllic landscaped pond
Find time for relaxation at our idyllic landscaped pond. Listen to the soothing ripple of the stream and the hum of the dragonflies, and take a break from the stresses of everyday life. The landscaped pond can be found below the bathing lake. You will find the fabulous flora and fauna to be found here particularly impressive.
Hut at the bathing lake
Swimming makes you hungry! The rustic wooden hut located next to the children’s area offers delicious dishes for those looking for a full meal or just a snack. Take a break from splashing and order yourself a helping of chips. For dessert? Be sure to enjoy a scoop of ice cream on our sun terrace!
