A high-pressure area over Western Europe will gradually gain influence on Friday. The Italian low, which has recently been dominating the weather, will move away and gradually dissipate. This will result in a sharp rise in air pressure. After the nighttime rain, some residual moisture will remain at first. The last showers will quickly subside in the morning, followed by increasing cloud breaks and sunny spells. Over the weekend, we will be on the southern edge of a high-pressure system that is shifting its center from the British Isles to the North Sea. The influx of fairly fresh or only moderately warm air masses will continue. Therefore, no major temperature increases are expected. In addition, the sky will be divided between sun and clouds, but it should remain mostly dry. Next week, Hurricane ERIN (then ex-hurricane) will move across the Atlantic toward Europe. It is still unclear how it will affect the general weather situation in our region. The start of the week still looks mostly pleasant, and temperatures will rise.
