It’s no secret that the holiday paradise of See boasts numerous family-friendly hiking trails that take you to lush green mountain pastures, crystal-clear mountain lakes and cosy mountain lodges. There’s plenty of choice, too: In the Paznaun valley, you don’t have to walk the same hiking trail twice – unless you want to, of course.

The region boasts enough great hiking trails to fill an entire family holiday. However, there are so many other great summer activities that it would be a shame not to try at least some of them!

For sports lovers

For instance, how about swapping your hiking boots for mountain bikes for a day and exploring the mountains around See on two wheels? Or, even better: Why not combine the two sports during a spectacular Bike & Hike tour?

If you want to get up even higher, how about a paragliding flight across the breathtaking summits of the Tyrolean Alps? If you have no prior paragliding experience, we recommend a tandem flight together with an experienced pro.

If you prefer more “down-to-earth” holiday activities, there are plenty more highlights to choose from. Did you know that the Paznaun valley boasts some excellent fishing spots? For instance, cast your line at Trisanna river to catch some lovely brown trout or brook trout.

Thanks to its many winding roads and spectacular mountain passes, the Tyrolean mountain region is also a favourite with “easy riders” from all over the world. The border triangle between Switzerland, Austria and Italy boasts more than 30 mountain passes – a dream come true for passionate motorcyclists!
