Description
From the mountain station Alp Trida Sattel, the path first leads gently toward Hüttenboden. With a bit of luck, you might spot edelweiss right next to the trail. From Hüttenboden, the route gradually ascends to Salaaser Eck and then to Ravaischer Salaas. The gypsum holes are impressive dolines in the gypsum rock. To the south, just below Piz Rots, you can see the Vadret (Sulnerferner). At Zeblas, the hiking trail briefly follows the road downhill before turning right, passing a hunting hut and a small pond toward Sulnerferner. At the foot of the glacier, you find yourself in a high alpine landscape, surrounded by Piz Vadret (Sulnerspitz) and the impressive flank of Piz Rots. The trail then leads back for a short distance. At the end of the scree field, a path branches off to the right toward Pischa, where you follow the road toward Val Masauna and Samnaun Dorf.
