An event you won’t forget anytime soon: the Watersurf Contest & Sunset Beats at Medrig Alm combines winter sports, adrenaline and laid-back mountain vibes. Right in the heart of the See ski area, brave skiers and snowboarders take on one of the coolest challenges of the season – gliding across an icy water pool without getting wet. Whether sporty, spectacular or dressed in a creative “crazy outfit” with a show performance, it’s not just about skill, it’s about style. The action kicks off at 11:00 am, with €2,000 in prize money and plenty of crowd energy.
After the contest, the atmosphere shifts: from around 3:00 pm, an electro DJ sets the mood for relaxed Sunset Beats as the sun dips behind the mountains. A unique mix of action, entertainment and alpine lifestyle – whether watching, cheering or taking part.
Category: Crazy Outfit
In addition to the regular competition, participants can also enter the “Crazy Outfit” category. Here, it’s not about crossing the water pool, but about creative expression.
Whether original, humorous or detailed – each run can be enhanced with a fitting show performance, turning it into a unique appearance. Judging focuses on creativity, presentation and overall impression. A category that adds an extra layer of entertainment to the Watersurf Contest.
