The anniversary of the Star Cup of the Chefs by Champagne Laurent-Perrier will be duly celebrated in Ischgl on 13 and 14 April 2025. This unique event has been bringing together star chefs and connoisseurs for a quarter of a century. Before that, on 9 and 10 April 2025, chefs, waiters and colleagues from the catering and hotel industry will compete against each other in the giant slalom in Ischgl to win the world championship title in skiing.

25th Star Cup of the Chefs

Leading star chefs from Germany, Austria and Switzerland compete with their Ischgl colleagues from the renowned toque-awarded restaurants in Ischgl in skiing and in the kitchen. The event begins on 13 April with a hearty evening in a mountain hut and continues on 14 April with sporty and creative events on the Idalp. The day begins at 10.30 am with the chefs' ski race, followed by the cookery duels at 12.00 pm. The anniversary event will be all about the culinary tests of the last 25 years and the prestige cuvée Grand Siècle from Champagne Laurent-Perrier. A high-calibre jury led by TV presenter Marcel Reif will then select the best team. Spectators are cordially invited to experience the event live on site from 10:00 am.

  • Martin Sieberer, Paznaunerstube in the Hotel Trofana Royal
  • Patrick Raaß, Schlossherrnstube in the Schlosshotel
  • Andreas Spitzer, gourmet restaurant at Hotel Fliana
  • Raphael Herzog, Lucy Wang

14th Ski World Championships of Gastronomy

At the 14th edition of the Ski World Championships of Gastronomy on 9 and 10 April, participants will compete against each other in the categories "Hoteliers, restaurateurs, chefs, hotel staff, waiters" and "Sommeliers, bartenders, winemakers, suppliers, hotel management students and guests" in two giant slalom rounds on the Idalp, at an altitude of 2,320 metres. In the team competition, hotels, restaurants or specialised teams can join forces.

A special highlight: ski fans have the opportunity to get valuable professional tips from former ski world champion and World Cup winner Marc Girardelli and explore the slopes together with him. Around the World Championships, the show kitchen on the Ischgl Stage will provide the backdrop for exciting presentations and tastings by brand partners. The finale and highlight of the sporting competition is the winners' party. Registration for the Ski World Championships is open from 10 January 2025 at www.ski-wm-der-gastronomie.de. The closing date for registrations is 5 April 2025.
